Over 10,000 people attended the 4th Annual Black Heritage festival this past weekend in Houston, TX.
Saturday featured performances by Grammy Award winning artist Lalah Hathaway, Stokely Williams and Earl Detrick. There was also a youth zone hosted by B.E.T. Comicview Comic Fiya, sponsored by new station amazing1025fm, guests were treated to awesome display of youth dance groups and upcoming musical talents from the city.
Hundreds of vendors were on site for the festival showcasing a diverse variety of items such as jewelry and clothing to non-profit organizations like Soeur Foundation, attendees were also able to get health screenings and register to vote, as there were several local candidates in attendance. This years 4th Annual Black Heritage fest vendors took in over 10k in revenue. T-Mobile was the official sponsor for the annual event, which was held at the George R. Brown convention center in downtown Houston.
